Strongmen are known for their mind-blowing size, with Hafthor Bjornsson being one of the biggest athletes that the sport has ever seen. Standing at 6-ft 7-in (2,05 meters), Hafthor possesses a frame to put on unbelievable amounts of weight. Well, he recently turned to Instagram to share his impressive 190-kilogram (418.9-pound) physique update, leaving his fans in awe with what he has managed to achieve.

Although it is easy to assume that a person weighing 190 kilograms (418.9 pounds) would be carrying a lot of fat, that simply is not the case with Hafthor Bjornsson. In fact, the 2018 World’s Strongest Man showed off visible abs, rounded shoulders, and huge trapezius muscles.

Hafthor Bjornsson’s physique update came less than two weeks out from the 2024 Rogue Invitational Strongman competition. It is set to take place on November 8-10 in Aberdeen, Scotland, and Hafthor’s physique proves that he is currently in an incredible shape, ready to battle for the title. One thing is certain, Hafthor definitely justified his nickname, ‘The Mountain’, with how much size he managed to pack on.

Once Hafthor Bjornsson announced his return to Strongman, he revealed multiple competitions in which he wanted to compete. However, he singled out the 2024 Rogue Invitational as his main appearance, mainly because he didn’t have much time to prepare for the first few competitions. So, seeing that Hafthor’s training has been going well, he has high expectations for the upcoming show.

Hafthor Bjornsson had incredible performances at all of his competitions this year, but the lack of his overhead pressing power definitely proved to be the biggest weakness. This is, of course, the consequence of his pec tear from 2023. Luckily, Hafthor recently revealed that his upper body strength has improved a lot, which increases his chances of winning the 2024 Rogue Invitational.

Apart from his upcoming appearance, Hafthor Bjornsson has a few more goals for his future in Strongman. Most notably, he will be looking to further advance his own 501-kilogram (1,104.5-pound) All-Time Deadlift World Record. He wants to perform that lift in a competition since his initial record sparked controversy. Hafthor is undoubtedly the greatest deadlifter currently, meaning that his goals of breaking the record are realistic.
