Hafthor Bjornsson’s career has been nothing short of amazing and at 30 years old, he still has so much more to accomplish. Bjornsson, who played “The Mountain” on the Games of Thrones has won countless competitions including World’s Strongest Man (2018), Arnold Strongman Classic (2018, 2019), Europe’s Strongest Man five times, and Iceland’s Strongest Man (2011-2019) to name a few.

Bjornsson placed third at the 2019 World’s Strongest Man competition after winning it last year. But he had a plantar fascia injury during the contest which may have affected his placing; however, it seems he’s recovered since then.
Here’s the Instagram post with his wife hoisting Iceland’s Strongest Man trophy with a message…

Hello!
Hafthor Bjornsson is amazing, however he did not win or even compete as far as I can tell in the 2018, 2019 Arnold Classic. Those are bodybuilding comps, not strength!
Nope not true! Arnold Strongman Classic is the event where strongman competes! You can Google “FitnessVolt Arnold Strongman Classic” for more info.
