So earlier this year, Big Ramy explained that he was dealing with some shoulder issues. And supposedly there were rumors that confirmed he wouldn’t be competing; which were rejected by the big man himself.
But he hasn’t competed at any shows this year and his corner (Neil Hill) agreed that Big Ramy should take a year off due to recoupe.
So, many assumed he may not take part in the 2019 Mr. Olympia competition until he recently made an Instagram post implying that he may or may not be competing.
But looking at his physique it seems he could definitely stand up there on stage in September with the other Open class guys.
Big Ramy placed second at the Mr. Olympia competition in 2017 behind Phil Heath but last year he came in a disappointing 6th. So, he’ll definitely want to come back and redeem himself by showing big improvements, giving the fans what they deserve. However, the question is when will he return?
Big Ramy definitely looks like he’s in great shape right now but there are 5 weeks to go and a special invitation is not out of the question for him either. So, it could be possible that we see him on stage this year.
Check out his recent post…
