Hafthor Bjornsson originates from Iceland, a country known for having a large number of extremely strong men. So, he recently wanted to prove that he is the greatest Strongman that the nation has. In turn, he enrolled in and won the 2024 Iceland’s Strongest Man competition.

The contest took place on August 10-11, just a week before the 2024 Strongest Man on Earth. However, Hafthor Bjornsson believes that this is a good way for him to warm-up for the SMOE.

Moreover, this was Hafthor Bjornsson’s 11th time winning the 2024 Iceland’s Strongest Man competition. What makes it even more impressive is just how easily he managed to achieve it. Namely, he won all six of the events without even having to push himself to the limit.

“Really pleased and happy… It has been awesome to compete among the best here in Iceland. It is an honor to share the stage with the guys. I always want to show respect towards the nation and the guys competing. That is why I like to compete at Iceland’s Strongest Man, because I want to give back to the sport by competing and supporting the competition.
