This year the CrossFit Games will take place over the course of three days, which is shorter than we have seen in previous editions. Another notable change was the qualifying path, since there were no Quarterfinals this year. So, the season consists of the CrossFit Open, CrossFit Semifinals (in-person and virtual), and finally the Games.

There will be a number of interesting storylines at the 2025 CrossFit Games. Firstly, Brooke Wells has confirmed that she will retire from the sport following her appearance this year. Similarly, there has been a ton of speculation about Tia-Clair Toomey’s retirement, with fans still hoping for a different outcome since nothing has officially been confirmed so far.
