The 2024 New York Pro has everyone from the bodybuilding community talking about who will win, including retired Men’s Open star Iain Valliere. In a recent Bro Chat podcast, Valliere opened up on Nick Walker versus Quinton Eriya and gave his top six predictions for the marquee event.
Helping shape his brother-in-law, the reigning five-time Classic Physique Olympia Chris Bumstead, Valliere’s opinion is highly respected in the bodybuilding world. In addition to his pursuits off the stage, Valliere led an impressive career in the Open class and won his final bodybuilding contest at the 2023 Toronto Pro Supershow.
Iain Valliere Talks Nick Walker vs. Quinton Eriya at 2024 New York Pro, Gives Top 6 Predictions
After lacking a desire and passion to continue the sport, Iain Valliere decided to hang up his posing trunks in September of 2023. However, that hasn’t stopped him from following the sport closely as he recently joined Fouad Abiad and company to break down and predict the results of the 2024 New York Pro.
“His conditioning is good though. He’s got a nice level of hardness to him for sure.”

“Like I don’t think he has the tissue yet to obviously be beating Nick, but I think he’s definitely up in the mix with the rest of the guys for sure” said Valliere.
Iain Valliere’s 2024 New York Pro Top Six
- Nick Walker
- Tonio Burton
- Martin Fitzwater
- Quinton Eriya
- Stuart Sutherland
- Angel Calderon
As the event draws nearer, Iain Valliere isn’t the only one discussing the potential outcome for the 2024 New York Pro. Recently, Milos Sarcev, Chris Cormier, and Dennis James shared their predictions, unanimously agreeing that Nick Walker will be the one to claim the victory. As for athlete representative Bob Cicherillo, he has Quinton Eriya earning that top spot. Cicherillo feels that for Nick Walker to win, he needs to come in looking like ‘Branch Warren 2.0.‘
The 2024 New York Pro show is stacked with some of bodybuilding’s greatest athletes. Not only will it be Nick Walker and Quinton Eriya going toe-to-toe, but also reigning 2023 New York Pro champion Tonio Burton will be seeking a title defense. Additionally, Detroit Pro winner Martin Fitzwater impressed the bodybuilding community during the 2024 Pittsburgh Pro guest posing event and will be in attendance.
Ultimately, fans are in for an explosive night as the Men’s Open contenders battle for the top spot and their ticket to the 2024 Mr. Olympia stage. Make sure to tune in on May 18th to watch bodybuilding history in the making at Steve Weinberger’s annual 2024 New York Pro show.
