Sam Sulek, despite being introverted, gained immense popularity in the fitness and bodybuilding community, all thanks to his easygoing personality. The latest to discuss the 21-year-old bodybuilder was ATHLEAN X coach Jeff Cavaliere, who likened Sulek’s physique and potential to WWE superstar Brock Lesnar.
Sulek’s rise in the fitness industry has been swift, a feat he achieved with impressive strength combined with a hulking 240-pound ripped physique. Despite having yet to compete in a bodybuilding contest, followers and fans alike admire the body he has carefully crafted.
As of late, Sulek was sponsored by Fouad Abiad’s Hosstile Supplement company, which was a telling sign of his promising future. Currently, Samson Dauda, the third-best bodybuilder in the world shares the same endorsement. Boasting millions of followers across Instagram and YouTube, Sulek’s gym and nutrition content have gone viral, and sometimes for the wrong reasons.
In addition to critiques about his diet (like drinking chocolate milk and eating cereal), many have speculated about his alleged excessive use of performance-enhancing drugs. Sulek hasn’t commented on his use of PEDs one way or another, but it remains a hot topic of debate.

Trainer Jeff Cavaliere ‘Gets Flashbacks of Jo Lindner’ w/ Sam Sulek, Says He’s the ‘Brock Lesnar of Bodybuilding’
Cavaliere, a former head physical therapist and strength and conditioning coach for the New York Mets, explains below why Sam Sulek gives off Jo Lindner and Brock Lesnar vibes. Although Jeff Cavaliere acknowledges Sulek’s massive potential, he does believe his training could use a makeover.
“As soon as I hear his name, I do get flashbacks of Jo Lindner. Sam Sulek is a one-of-one. He’s a Brock Lesnar of bodybuilding. You can do every single thing Brock Lesnar did and never be Brock Lesnar. I think he’s an athlete for sure he started off swimming or something.
I think so. He does some very unique things. I would say some of them look a little outrageous. Like a cable crossover type movement where he kept his arms in front of him, a really short range of motion, explains Jeff Cavaliere.
Aside from Jeff Cavaliere, a handful of bodybuilders have voiced their opinions of Sulek. The latest was reigning five-time Classic Physique Olympia Chris Bumstead and Urs Kalecinski. According to ‘Cbum,’ he appreciates the different approach Sulek has taken to gym content. Moreover, he predicted Sulek will one day ‘take over the world’ when he decides to retire.
Other bodybuilders such as Lee Priest have been complimentary of Sulek as well. Even though Priest hasn’t met the influencer, he believes fan backlash regarding Sulek’s use of PEDs was unwarranted. Priest emphasized that those accusing Sulek of wrongdoing were simply jealous of his success.
With Sam Sulek turning casual gym content into a new trend, perhaps a huge shift is coming in the fitness and bodybuilding communities. Jeff Cavaliere recognizes Sulek’s star potential, but underlines that his physique is a “one-of-one.”
