Jessica Espinal’s Full Performance

So, she weighed in at 46.65 kilograms and absolutely dominated the U47KG weight class. Jessica successfully completed all nine of her attempts, setting three new Competition PRs in the process.
Squat
Jessica Espinal was always known to have a tremendous squat, but on this occasion she managed to reach a milestone that she has been chasing for a while. Although the recently implemented elbow depth rule was something that affected Jessica, as it forced her to increase her range of motion. However, she has clearly accommodated well to the regulation, as she managed to tie her competition PR with a press of 97.5 kilograms (215 pounds).

At 23-years-old, Jessica Espinal has already taken part in 25 sanctioned powerlifting competitions and won 20 of those. Her performance at the 2024 IPF World Junior Championships is definitely the best that she had across the entirety of her career so far. She won her first IPF title and set multiple World Records, including one in the Open division. So, it is clear that she is one of the greatest prospects in powerlifting at the moment.
On the other hand, Jessica Espinal’s Raw Total IPF Open World Record could spark an epic rivalry between her and Tiffany Chapon.
