Some bad news for fans of four-time Reebok CrossFit Games athlete Jessica Griffith.
Griffith’s video submission for CrossFit Workout 20.4 has been rejected. This one hurts and boots Griffith out of the leader boards all together.
Griffith’s entire Open Workout 20.4 was invalidated. Ouch.

Earlier in the week, Jessica Griffith took to social media to try and explain the situation. The outlook? Not good.
“It wouldn’t be a “Jess Journey” if there weren’t ALLL the twists and turns.
Got this news yesterday morning—and after further video review, yes, I realized I had the boys load 10s after the 85# bar instead of 15s. My only explanation is that I’m just an idiot and overlooked the math #human #typicalJessMove. I took the day yesterday to be super frustrated with myself—as this knocks me out of contention to qualify through the Open (yes, the plan is to try and qualify as an individual—while having fun doing some team sanctions just for kicks). But this is year 4 in a row that God’s allowed some crazy “plot twist” to make it all fall His way and not my way.
My job is to keep using the gifts He’s given me and not let the twists and turns along the journey discourage me. I’m psyched to see what this year has in store. A dramatic start must mean a FIRE finish. See ya at sanctionals. Dibs on @midatlanticcrossfitchallenge and @thewestcoastclassic”
