Jonathan Cayco is one of the strongest powerlifters in the world, today. He showed this in full force when he hit a massive 735lb, but he also showed some unique dance moves.

Cayco has truly set himself apart from the rest of his contemporaries in the last year or so. He has had some excellent performances in 2019, even setting unofficial world records. Things seemed to really be coming together for this young competitor, judging by his recently lifts.

Sometimes it is easy to forget, when looking at his incredible lifts, that Cayco has a more entertaining side to him. However, this was on display recently, when he took to the gym. In a recent post to his Instagram, he was seen hitting a solid 735lb deadlift. Not only is that a ridiculously huge lift, but right before he did it, he seemed to do a little dance. Although this was clearly to warm up his shoulders, set up his posterior chain, and prepare for the deadlift, it was still quite entertaining to see.

3 lbs under my grinder at Nationals 😮 “We Saiyans have broken through our limits time and time again… you’ve seen it too.” Let’s Fight!!! “

This little dancing routine, plus the Dragon Ball Z quote in the post, gave a real insight into who Jonathan Cayco is, when not in the gym. Sure, he is a ridiculously strong athlete, but he is also a regular 27 year old guy from California. Although this is not the most representative of how he is, this definetly gives his fans something to relate to.

Nevertheless, it can not be overstated how impressive of a lift this is from Jonathan Cayco. Like he said, this is only three pounds less than his competition best, which he set at the RAW Nationals. It was a super strong deadlift, from a man known for his bench press.
