“I can do all things through God who strengthens me. – Philippians 4:13” It may be just a Bible verse for some, but Kevin Fast takes it literally.
Fast is a man of faith, serving as a Lutheran Pastor for the better part of 30 years. However, when he is not lifting his hands in praise, he is lifting his arms in the gym. In fact, he has proven over the years to be one of the strongest men in all the world.
As he recently explained in an interview with the New York Post, Fast holds many spots in the Guinness Book of World Records. To name a few of his accomplishments, Kevin has pulled a house that weighed just under 80,000lb. On top of that, he has dragged a fire truck for 100 feet and pulled a 416,299lb aircraft for almost 30 feet.
Check out this video, where he displays some of his incredible strength:
At age 56, Kevin Fast feels it very important to keep his strongman passion out of sermons. On the other hand, he tends to be unable to keep his faith out of the weight room. As he explains, people often come to him for advice.

“In the strength scene where I compete, people know I’m a pastor. They’re always asking me questions and wanting help or my opinion on different things,” Fast says. “So in church, I’m just a pastor, and in strength, I’m sort of a pastor there, too.”
What is perhaps the most mind-blowing aspect of Fast, is his relative lack of training. Apparently, he only trains for about 30 minutes a day but is still unbelievably strong. Doctors seem to believe this is due to the fact that he has dense and thick bones. In addition to that, he is able to release adrenaline on-demand, giving him essentially a real-life superpower.
Kevin Fast says his inhuman strength is a gift from God, designed to help him in spreading the holy word. Nevertheless, it is certainly impressive to see him do some of the things he can accomplish.
