Larry Wheels recently tore his left bicep doing Atlas stone training, and he went on Instagram to reassure his fans that these types of things will happen and are all a part of the game.
Wheels’ has been absolutely killing it lately and expectations are always high for him to set a new pr or defy human limits. But, it just goes to show that immortals can experience setbacks too.
And although disheartening, Larry Wheels is still super young (24) and will bounce back in no time.
“I have torn my hamstring, quad, pec, and now my bicep. After each injury, I have come back stronger and smarter! Even if I end up in a wheelchair, I’ll still be in the gym pushing my limits because this is my passion, and nothing is gonna stop me from training!
Strongman, bodybuilding, powerlifting, none of these sports pay the bills. I train because I love to train and inspire some people along the way! If your currently injured or worried about getting hurt, it’s just part of training, and there is always something to be learned from an injury that will make you grow!

While hurt, focus on what you can do, not what you can’t. For example, me getting bigger calfs!“
At the end of the Instagram post, Wheels’ joked that he can now focus on getting bigger calves since it’s no secret he gets teased about them.
Larry Wheels has been training for Strongman and was supposed to participate in the Giants Live Wembley competition on July 6th, but he’ll have to wait until he’s 100% again to train at full throttle.
