Larry Wheels has been open about his bodybuilding goals for the past month, making it clear that he wants to pursue it until the end. So, he has taken all the necessary steps in order to find success in the Classic Physique, which he described as an art form. Well, on October 28th, Larry decided to take part in the 2023 NPC Ultimate Warriors. Everything went perfectly for Larry, as he ended up winning his division overall.
Larry Wheels has spent years competing in powerlifting, and even wanted to venture into Strongman at one point. So, his regular bodyweight was much heavier than what was optimal for Classic Physique. This presented another challenge for Larry, but he was still not intimidated by it. He ended up cutting down to 230.5 pounds from his previous bodyweight of 270 pounds.
Larry Wheels brought in a peeled physique to the 2023 NPC/IFBB Ultimate Warriors, fully displaying striations in all muscles, especially his quads. His posing was also up to standard, meaning that Larry really did not have any weak points throughout the competition overall.

Larry Wheels will not rest at all, since his next appearance will be at the 2023 Amateur Olympia on November 1st, in Orlando, Florida. He will once again compete in the Classic Physique division, but this time even more will be at stake. If Larry manages to place in the top three of his division at the Amateur Olympia, he will be rewarded with the IFBB Pro Card.
Larry Wheels’ newfound success in bodybuilding is even more impressive due to the fact that he stopped using steroids a while ago due to health concerns. So, Larry managed to accomplish everything by just being on TRT (Testosterone Replacement Therapy). His coach predicted that TRT was the only thing needed to become successful, and that was just proved to be true.
To get to this point, Larry Wheels has trained with many of bodybuilding’s famous figures, including Breon Ansley. However, he still did not neglect his other interests either, as he did perform some strength and arm wrestling sessions. Unfortunately, during his most recent arm wrestling practice, Larry was involved in an accident, which saw his opponent walk away with a broken arm.
Apart from bodybuilding, Larry Wheels life has been quite eventful as well, as he opened his first “no budget” public gym. On the other hand, Larry also had some health issues, as he was diagnosed with rhabdomyolysis, which put his kidneys in risk. Luckily, he recovered well and is not on the way to fulfill his bodybuilding dreams.
