The Bikini lineup at the prestigious 2025 Arnold Classic has lost some of its star power. On January 23, 2025, reigning Ms. Bikini Olympia Lauralie Chapados revealed she has decided not to compete at the Arnold Classic, scheduled for February 27 to March 2 in Columbus, Ohio.
Lauralie Chapados registered a highly impressive 2024 season, which began with a successful title defense at the Arnold Classic. This feat secured her status as a three-time Ms. Bikini International winner. She used that momentum as a weapon on stage to bag her maiden Bikini Olympia title.
Of late, Lauralie Chapados turned her attention to the 2025 Arnold Classic. She was aiming to pick up her fourth victory. Chapados wasted no time and began her rigorous prep, offering her followers a glimpse of the process by sharing a breakdown of her six-meal full day of eating.

However, in a shocking turn of events, Chapados announced on social media that she had made the decision not to compete at the 2025 Arnold Classic just weeks ahead of the event.
“Hi guys. Jumping on here really quickly to just share with you something about the upcoming Arnold 2025.
So a decision was made about three weeks ago that we had to stop the preparations for this Arnold Classic, and it’s with a heavy heart that I am announcing that I won’t be competing at the Arnold Classic this year.”
While Chapados didn’t voice her reason for not competing, she revealed that this was the best choice for her longevity in the sport.
“I know the decision was the right one to make at this point in time in my life and for my future goal as far as longevity in the sport and I am so thankful for the support that I have around me, with my coaches and my sponsors and really well surrounded right now to doing what is right for me” Chapados explained.
With Lauralie Chapados no longer taking to the stage, the 2025 Bikini Arnold Classic title is up for grabs. This opens the door for contenders such as Maureen Blanquisco and Angelica Teixeira, who will no doubt rise to the occasion.
