Pattaya Police Chief Kunlachart Kunlachai confirmed that law enforcement responded to a call in the Pattaya Lagoon Village, located off of Soi Kor Phai, Moo 10, at 8:30 P.M. on January 30, 2023. Upon arrival, police found 34-year-old fitness influencer Leo Rex (Laith Abdullah Algaz) dead in a bedroom with a private bathroom.

After the news circulated, popular YouTuber Tony Huge revealed that Leo Rex died in his Thailand home. Initial reports indicate that the house was likely ransacked as there were various items scattered throughout the bedroom and bathroom. Authorities said blood was found on the bathroom floor.

When officers discovered Leo Rex, he was wearing only a black t-shirt with blood dried up around his nose and mouth. A female witness told Pattaya Police that Leo was checked on by friends after he’d been missing for several hours. Retrieving a spare key, his friends opened the door and found his deceased body, prompting calls to the police.

Pattaya Police are moving Algaz’s body to the institute of Forensic Medicine for a full autopsy to determine the cause of death. Given the strange circumstances, police urged the public not to jump to conclusions until an official autopsy/examination has been conducted. Chief Kunlachai shared that all of the friends involved were brought to the police station for interviews and further questioning.

Tony Huge Speaks Out After Leo Longevity Found Mysteriously Dead in Thailand Home

In a video published on Jan. 31, 2023, Tony Huge provided information regarding Leo Longevity dying at 34 years old in his Thailand home.

“Yes, it is true that Leo Longevity has passed away. We think that he passed away around Friday at 11:30 A.M. or thereabouts. I didn’t find the body until Monday, which is yesterday. I didn’t check on him because I thought he either took a sleeping pill and was just sleeping for 24 hours, then I just got more suspicious as time went on. Then, I thought he went on a vacation because he’s done this before, gone on a weekend vacation with a girlfriend or something.

It wasn’t until I knocked on his door and checked around the back of the glass slider and I saw the room looked kind of torn up. So, I opened the slider door, his bedroom door was locked but the slider door was open on the side. I opened his bathroom door, and the bathroom door wouldn’t open because his body was blocking the door.”

According to Tony, there’s ‘no possible way’ someone was in the bathroom with Leo at the time of his death. He added that Leo didn’t die from ‘anything sudden or acute,’ however, suspected that he was trying to get something that fell into the toilet.

“I’m trying to be so open, honest, and transparent about everything,” says Tony Huge. “It would have been impossible for someone else to have caused this on him, the way that the door was inside of the bathroom. There’s no possible way there was someone in the bathroom with him. He also didn’t die from anything sudden or acute.”

“It’s not like he took some kind of drug and had a heart attack or anything like that. There was noise coming from the room for like 15, 20 minutes I remember. I thought it was the sound of furniture moving but now after looking at the scene – it looks like it was the toilet making that noise. It looked like he was trying to get something that went down the toilet. There were tools put in the toilet hole.”

Before the incident, Tony Huge mentioned that Leo Longevity seemed the happiest he’d ever seen him.

“His emotional state was very good actually. He was the happiest I had ever seen him before he passed away, which is one of the things that led me to believe that it was some kind of manic episode that went too far toward the happy energetic side of the spectrum.”

“The police have done a lot of forensics work and a lot of photos and a lot of interviews and hopefully they’ll find more information but it’s a really confusing situation. Without giving a lot of the graphic details, it’s just not possible anyone else was involved. And again, not a sudden death from any kind of drug. If there’s any kind of drug involved, which Leo didn’t do recreational drugs, the only drugs he took were performance-enhancing mental drugs.”

“As best as I can tell and the police can tell, this is what we’ve all come up with so far,” says Tony Huge.

Leo Longevity was a regular guest on Tony Huge’s YouTube channel, where they routinely discussed recreational drugs and/or PED/steroid protocols. In addition, Leo ran his own YouTube channel, where he created content for more than 123,000 subscribers.

This is a developing story, should any new information become available, Fitness Volt will keep you updated. Staff wishes Leo Rex’s (Laith Abdullah Algaz) family and friends our thoughts and condolences during this difficult time.
