In a recent Instagram post shared on September 30, 2024, Brian Johnson, better known as Liver King, revealed a new version of himself, which includes being transparent about his steroid use.
Liver King has become a distinguished figure in the fitness industry, specifically for his ancestral lifestyle; at one point, he claimed to be all-natural. However, in a shocking turn of events, Derek from More Plates More Dates exposed Liver King’s steroid cycle through a leaked email.
While Liver King did own up to his lies surrounding his use of performance-enhancing drugs, he still faced a plethora of backlash from betrayed fans and followers of his practices. In fact, Johnson was hit with multiple lawsuits, some amounting to as much as $25 million.

However, Liver King didn’t allow his dishonesty to be his downfall. He continued to persevere on the internet, boasting his incredibly ripped physique after being ‘natty’ for an extended period of time. Johnson did eventually get back on TRT and growth hormone, but made sure to disclose this information with his followers, rather than hiding it like he did in the past.
After all the shenanigans, it seems that Liver King is finally on the right path and being honest with his 2.8 million followers on Instagram alone. In a recent post, he revealed a new version of himself, one he promises to be free from lies, hiding, and secrets.

Johnson went into detail about how he utilizes growth hormone, injecting it into his shoulders while explaining the process.
“Liver King 3.0 is the holy trinity of the truth. And the truth is, I wasn’t taking growth hormone back then but I was putting a needle in my arm a couple of times” said Johnson.
“So put a little growth hormone in each of the fibers that I want to synergize and make it concise. Compress all of it, that pure f*cking goodness into one.”
Moving forward, Liver King aims to be entirely honest regarding his steroid use, going as far as offering up a blood test.
“I’m not taking no steroid. I’d love to share a blood test if anyone would like to know. The truth is just the truth.”

This certainly won’t be the last we see of Liver King, who is currently battling the difficulties following his latest injury. Initially, Johnson was vague, only supplying his followers with the fact that he was dealing with a serious problem with his eye.
Later, he revealed that he suffered a retinal detachment that led to a subconjunctival hemorrhage, expressing that it could have caused a brain hemorrhage. While he was able to get immediate treatment, his eye is now permanently damaged.
While it seems Liver King is turning over a new leaf, his followers remain skeptical due to the extensiveness of his deceit in the past. Time will tell if Johnson is truly a renewed version of himself. But in the meantime, fans can look forward to seeing more of his crazy adventures in the future!
