Renowned for his early morning workouts, Mark Wahlberg has kept in shape by keeping consistent in the gym. Despite facing injuries, including three herniated disks, two torn meniscus, and broken bones in his hands, this Hollywood star persevered through a rigorous leg day workout without making excuses.
Although still super active in the gym, Wahlberg has taken the time to slow down, acknowledging that at 52 years old, there is no reason to be working out seven times a week. Instead, he now shapes his workouts around rest and recovery. Part of this recovery process is using cold plunges which he feels has helped with the healing process.

Instead of staying up late and partying, Wahlberg set his sights on personal development and growth, courtesy of his latest Instagram post. He also relayed how he’s feeling about his mentality as he heads into another year.
“5:20 in the morning, they had the cold plunge all locked up. They thought I was out late last night partying, I said nah nah nah. I finally got what I asked for for Christmas. Motivation. You know what I am up early and I am getting after it.”
“All them dreams we are trying to make these things a reality. Put in that work. Get after it. We are up baby. We are motivated. We are getting after it. You know what I wish you nothing but joy, happiness, and prosperity in 2024 but in order to make those things come to fruition you gotta put in that work. You gotta get after it. God bless you” Wahlberg said.
