Michelle Lewin Says Husband Is Off Of Dialysis, Still Needs Cardiothoracic Surgery

It has been a troubling couple of weeks for Michelle Lewin, and her husband Jimmy. Although he is far from out of the woods, Michelle says that things are starting to improve in his condition.

The fitness community was concerned when Michelle revealed that Jimmy was in the hospital in critical condition. However that stress was relieved a bit when she updated fans on his condition. He had been showing some serious signs of improvement, but there was still a lot of unknowns. In particular, there was still a concern that he may need cardiothoracic surgery, in order to repair damage to his heart. 

It would appear that things are continuing to improve for Jimmy, as Michelle Lewin explained on Instagram. While she is still being cautious with her optimism, she revealed that his vitals had been steadily improving and he has not been on dialysis for three days. Although she also revealed that he does indeed need the surgery, as soon as his platelet count returns to normal.

“His initial diagnosis was: acute liver failure, acute kidney failure, heart failure with ascending aortic aneurysm and arterial dissection

-It has been 14 days of this terrible situation, all this has been very difficult and I cannot say anything about the things that I have lived through especially the first three days when my hopes and FAITH left my body, and even more so listening to the doctors Telling me there is nothing to do, that only a miracle can help Jimmy get out of this. But Jimmy’s strength has surprised everyone, and something very important: all the prayers of each one of you🙏🏻 God is listening to us, I have no doubt.
4 days ago his liver began to react and for three days his kidneys also, although with the help of dialysis but at the moment it has not been done for two days.
I want to tell you that today, I am seeing that ray of light in this darkness. Because your blood and platelet values ​​are reaching normal, and as soon as you are in condition you can go to cardiothoracic surgery

Sodium: rose from 133 to 135 (VN 135 to 145 mEq / L) .

Bilirubin: low from 6.8 to 5.4 (VN 0.1 to 1.2) 
LIVER ENZYMES keep going down!
AST low from 90 to 71 (VN 10 to 34) 
ALT from 374 to 303 (VN 5 to 60). 
Creatinine: equal 2.6 (VN 0.7 to 1.3) 
You haven’t had dialysis in 3 days. They are giving the kidney a chance to do its job
 Glucose: low from 118 to 115 (BV below 100)
COAGULATION TIMES:
TPT was not measured (VN 25 to 35 sec). Last time it was 29. 
INR (TP) low from 1.7 to 1.54 (VN 0.9 to 1.3) 
 TABLETS: rose from 143,000 to 169,000 (VN 150-300 thousand).
