The atmosphere between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul is fiery, to say the least, as both men are looking to win the mental battle ahead of their highly anticipated boxing match. Well, just one day before the fight, the men gathered for an official weigh-in. While that procedure passed by smoothly, the follow-up face-off definitely did not. In fact, it ended with Mike Tyson abruptly slapping Jake Paul and causing true havoc on the platform.

The Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul boxing match has been in the making for some time now, as the first scheduled date fell through due to certain health complications that Mike went through. However, nothing is stopping the match from happening on November 15th, with both men being eager to step into the ring. This is especially true for Tyson, who could not wait for the match to start but instead landed a ferocious slap during the face-off.

Mike Tyson was the first man out of the two to set up on the platform, with Jake Paul arriving seconds later. However, while Mike stood upright, Jake approached him with a ducked stance and proceeded to ascend up to face his opponent. The theatrics were clearly not amusing to Mike, who suddenly hit Jake with a powerful slap. The exact reasons why Mike decided to make this move are unclear, but some fans are speculating that it came as a reaction to Jake stepping on his foot. On the other hand, Jake immediately responded to the situation.

“I didn’t even feel it. He is angry. He is an angry little elf. Mike Tyson, I thought that was a cute slap buddy, but tomorrow you are getting knocked the f**k out. I’m f**king him up! He hits like a bi*ch! It is personal now; he must die!” said Jake Paul.

Logan Paul Reacts to Mike Tyson Slapping Jake Paul

Jake Paul’s brother, Logan Paul, also broke his silence on the altercation that occurred after the weigh-ins. His thoughts on the situation were mixed, as he first explained that the fact that his brother was slapped by the ‘Iron Mike’ himself was iconic. However, he also proved that he is backing his brother in the fight, insinuating that Jake will crush Mike in the ring.

“My brother got slapped by Mike Tyson, f****** iconic… but a grave error.

This fight just became personal for Jake Tomorrow’s outcome will be utter devastation for Mike; the new face of boxing will be crowned tomorrow,” wrote Logan on X

Although Mike Tyson was not very talkative throughout the past few days, his actions have definitely shown that the old ‘Iron Mike’, who was known for his ferociousness and intensity, is back once more. Most notably, during a recent press conference, Mike received a question from a female reporter about potentially losing to Jake Paul. However, he did not even want to think of that as a possibility, shutting down the reporter in an aggressive tone of voice.

While the slap incident definitely turned out to be the most prominent moment of the weigh-ins, the actual point was to check exactly how much bodyweight each fighter was carrying. Jake Paul was the first man to take the scale, showing that he weighs 227.2 pounds (103 kilograms). On the other hand, Mike Tyson was just slightly heavier, coming out to 228.4 pounds (103.6 kilograms).
