Ronnie Coleman may have put his days of high-level competition behind him. However, that does not stop the legend from staying in phenomenal shape.
Coleman is an eight time Mr. Olympia Champion. He has been around bodybuilding for a long time, competing against the who’s who of elite competition. Therefore, it is completely understandable why he would be excited for the upcoming 2019 Mr. Olympia competition.
Ahead of the event, Coleman expressed his anticipation. Subsequently, he already gave his predictions for who will be walking away with the empty Olympia throne. However, it is more than just spectating that Coleman wants to do, as his competitive spirit will never fade. That is why he posted this video to his Instagram, showing that despite being 55 years old, he is still in outstanding shape.
Check him out:
“We are exactly one week away from the Mr Olympia. Been working on my conditioning lately. Now all I have to do is add about 3 to 4 inches on my arms and legs and I’ll be ready to step on stage once again.

Well maybe 10 inches on my legs. Well if I can do that by next Saturday I will definitely be on stage competing. Something I think is impossible to do, oh well it was a good thought for a minute there.
That’s probably as close I’m gonna ever get to competing again. In the meantime I’ll just stick to trying to get in better shape. I will be at the Olympia expo signing copies of my newly released book, My Incredible story, Blood, Sweat and Muscles.
It took that and a whole lot of Sacrifice and total Dedication to win 8 Olympia’s and 18 other bodybuilding championships.”
Coleman seems to be unbelievably vascular in this video, as his veins are prominent throughout his entire body. Moreover, he alludes to the idea of him increasing the size of his arms and legs, and being ready for competition. Although he does admit that on a serious note, this is likely the best his conditioning will be for the rest of his life.
Ronnie Coleman is a treasure among the bodybuilding community. While his presence at the 2019 Mr. Olympia would be a sight to behold, it seems unlikely that this will happen.
