Ronnie Coleman’s numerous back surgeries were big news at one point and many people were concerned about the legend who couldn’t seem to stay out of the gym.

Coleman was the target of criticism for not recovering before training hard again, which many believed to have put him back in the hospital a number of times.

However, he decided to back off the weights and let himself fully recover and heal. Well, he’s finally started training again since his last surgery in January and he’s going pretty hard… 5x a week in fact, and he posted an Instagram video along with a message for fans…

Yeah Buddy!!!!! Trying my best to get back in shape after the 6 month layoff after my last surgery in January. Didn’t ever think my Doctor was going to ever release me to start back Training and doing Therapy. Finally training 5 days a week and doing therapy 2 days a week.”

But Ronnie Coleman is just doing what he loves and there’s no one who can convince him to take it easy on the weight training. After all, he has won the most prestigious bodybuilding title in the World more than anyone else (Tied with Lee Haney) and training was his life. It made him the champion he’s known as being…

“Feels so good to be back in the gym even if it is almost 100 degrees in here. Ain’t nothing in the world that compares to doing what you love doing most in the world. Hope you guys are training hard too, God knows I need this like I need food, sleep, and water. Oh yeah, once again it’s on like neck bones.”
