The 2020 CrossFit Open season is upon us, as fans wait patiently for information to be revealed about the workouts. Now, Rogue has provided some updates on what to expect.

The CrossFit Workout 20.1 is coming up quickly. Athletes are wondering what to expect, especially with the hints that may or may not have been dropped by Dave Castro a few weeks ago. Nevertheless, Rogue has finally made an announcement about what to expect from the workout.

They posted this message to Instagram:

“We’re excited to announce the kickoff of the 2020 Reebok CrossFit Games season with a Live Announcement of Open Workout 20.1!

On October 10th @scottpanchik and @richfroning will square off for CrossFit Open Workout 20.1 live from Austin, Texas.

The workout begins at 7PM CST, but our live streaming coverage will start at 6:30PM CST with a special edition of the Rogue Iron Game show!”

According to this message, there will be a live announcement of the workout on October 10th. Moreover, CrossFit stars Scott Panchik and Rich Froning will compete during the Live Announcement, The live streaming coverage of the event will start at 7pm CST, with the live broadcast beginning at 630pm CST.

October 10th will mark the first of five weeks of workouts. Athletes of any skill or experience level are welcomed to participate. As long as you have a camera and the space to train, you can workout alongside these CrossFit stars. The workouts are sure to be fun, but intense, and will provide a great way to test your meddle for the upcoming season.
