After years of preparation, Sam Sulek will finally test himself in the NPC. On February 11, 2025, Sulek confirmed his plan to compete this weekend in Classic Physique at the 2025 NPC Legends Classic; if he is successful, he intends to enter the Arnold Amateur event.
At just 21 years old, Sam Sulek took the world by storm thanks to his ripped physique and (at the time) unconventional dieting choices. While the days of crushing boxes of Krispie Kremes and gallons of chocolate milk are behind him, his goal has remained the same: become an exceptional bodybuilder.
In the past year, he has fine-tuned his physique using bulks and cuts. Given his impressive width and size, many thought he was destined for the Men’s Open class, and while that may still hold true, Sulek intends to test his mettle in Classic Physique first. The 2025 Legends Classic will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 15, which has turned into a must-see event.

“No more winter shredathon, no more just dieting down arbitrarily, this that or the other. I mean, it’s show week. It is debut show week. That is the time.”
He explained that his resistance training schedule hasn’t changed and he’s increased his cardio to an hour and a half per day.
“So, nothing much is going to change yet. Calorie counting is the same as normal, basically just lifting the same as normal. Cardio–definitely the same as normal, actually a touch extra. I’m going to get back on my at least an hour and a half per day.”
He plans to do well at the NPC Legends Classic in Vegas with the hope of competing at the Arnold Amateur — which is the same event that kickstarted bodybuilding star Andrew Jacked‘s career.
“The overarching plan is this is a qualifier show, right? So once I head back home, assuming I actually meet those qualifications then that means I get to do the Arnold Amateur.
But that’s like three weeks from now. Let’s focus on what’s kind of right in front of us and really focus on what’s right in front of us, is this chest day.”
En route to his bodybuilding debut, Sulek has been a student of the game. He’s taken valuable lessons from top-tier bodybuilders including Urs Kalecinski, reigning Mr. Olympia Samson Dauda, and bodybuilding legend Jay Cutler.
With overwhelming hype and considered one of the most popular bodybuilders in the community, all eyes will be on Sulek as he takes the stage this weekend. If he manages to find success and then makes it to the Arnold Amateur, his star power will undoubtedly explode beyond what he’s already witnessed.
