Meal 1
- 1 small carton of egg whites
- handful of chopped salad mix
- 56 grams of fat-free mozzarella cheese
- 2 servings of low-sugar barbecue sauce
He kicked off his full day of eating with a 334-calorie breakfast, mostly made of egg whites, salad, and low-fat cheese.
“So 334 calories and this is going to be pretty filling. I got to wait for it to cool down a touch because I don’t want to burn my tongue.
Then, the few meals that I do get to eat, I won’t even be able to freakin enjoy. I’m fiending for this today after an hour of cardio,” he shares.
Meal 2
- 6.3 ounces of ground turkey
- broccoli (‘a pretty substantial amount’)
- salt
- 64 grams of low-sugar barbecue sauce
A common theme throughout his day is ensuring his fats stay relatively low. Strictly sticking to his desired macros helps Sulek not eat as much food at night.
“This broccoli was already pre-steamed I just made a bunch in a batch. I had it in a pre-prepped tin in the fridge,” he shared. “Once this meal is eaten, 106 grams of protein, two grams of fat which is a good thing for me. The lower these bars are as the day progresses, the easier it’s going to be for me to actually stick to my numbers.”
Meal 3 (Post-Workout)
- 8 ounces of ground turkey 99% lean
- 40 grams of fat-free mozzarella cheese
- 90 grams of low-sugar barbecue sauce
- broccoli
- cauliflower
His post-workout meal consisted of ground turkey with vegetables. In case he gets hungry in between meals, he keeps a collection of low-carb keto-friendly bars available.
“Waited probably two hours-ish after that most recent meal. Went and did back, did an hour of cardio, came back, and now I present you with this,” he shared. “I got a bunch of low-carb keto-friendly protein bars sitting in the pantry door or some of the protein cookies and stuff, 14 grams of fat, 10 grams of carbs, 20 grams of protein. As a treat, those are nice.”
Meal 4
- 150 grams of frozen mixed berries
- 3 containers of sugar-free jello
- 1 small carton of egg whites
- 3 servings of fat-free mozzarella cheese
- chopped salad
- vegetables
- 2 servings of low-sugar barbecue sauce
- 8 ounces of ground turkey
- Low-carb protein bar
His final meal was similar to dishes he had earlier in the day except he also enjoys it with a low-carb protein bar and lots of frozen fruit.
“This is it. I’m not going to eat all of this at once,” shares Sulek. “This combined with a little low-carb protein bar, again this is more of a snack because I like it and it fits with the macros I’m aiming for for the day.”
