The 2019 Dubai CrossFit Championship has finally concluded with the top individuals and team being awarded an invitation to the 2020 Reebok CrossFit Games in Madison Wisconsin.
The CrossFit sanctional spanned over four days (December 11-14) and hosted 11 events which made for an exciting competition. But only the best prevailed victorious with Sara Sigmundsdottir dominating on the women’s side while Brent Fikowski took first place for the men. MisFit M10 Performance won the Team events.
Here are the top 3 finishers from each category…
Top 3 women
1. Sara Sigmundsdottir (Iceland)
2. Karin Frey (Slovakia)
3. Samantha Briggs (Great Britain)
Both Sigmundsdottir and Frey have already qualified for the 2020 Games due to their Open performances so 2013 CrossFit Games champion Samantha Briggs will probably get the invite when the results have finalized.
