Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr is without a doubt the greatest female CrossFitter ever seen, boasting eight Fittest Woman on Earth titles along with many other accolades. However, Tia-Clair’s 2026 season is a bit different from usual, since she is currently pregnant with her second child. That did not stop Tia-Clair from competing in Hyrox, where she completed a full race alongside her husband.

Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr and her husband, Shane Orr, appeared at the 2026 Hyrox Americas Championships on March 7-8 in Washington, DC. They competed in the Mixed Doubles division, where they set a very formidable time of 1:21.48. It is also important to note that her husband, Shane, is also her coach.

Although Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr is usually focused on battling for first place in any competition, this time, she got the chance to fully enjoy the experience without putting herself under too much pressure. She revealed this in her Instagram post, where she also expressed that she enjoyed the entire race.

“That was a blast 💥 especially doing it right beside my hubby.

First HYROX race with Shane Orr & had no idea how it was going to feel but loved every minute of it.

Thanks for all the love out there, I definitely got to take it in a lot more than I normally can.”

This was not the first time that Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr had raced in Hyrox, but it was the first time that she partnered up with her husband. She previously competed alongside Joanna Wietrzyk, where the duo managed to set a new World Record in Women’s Doubles. Tia-Clair was also preparing to compete at the Hyrox World Championships but withdrew prior to the competition due to sickness.

Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr announced her pregnancy back in November of 2025, but it is believed that she was aware of it even earlier since she did not participate in the 2025 Rogue Invitational. So, while it is unclear just how far along her pregnancy is currently, Tia-Clair was at least four months pregnant at the time of her recent Hyrox race.

This is Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr’s second pregnancy, as she gave birth to her first child back in May of 2023. She made a quick return to the sport at that time, managing to win the CrossFit Games the very next year. However, Tia-Clair opened up about her future amid her second pregnancy, where she revealed that she will likely not rush back in this time around. She also talked about her competitive spirit, which might be the driving force behind her return to the sport once again.
