Attempts made. The share of all snatch or clean and jerk attempts the lifter made. At senior World Championships and Olympic Games since 1998, lifters make 58% of snatches and 56% of clean and jerks.
Snatch as a share of clean and jerk. The snatch divided by the clean and jerk at the best total. It describes the shape of a lifter, not strength, so it is not in bold; eight in ten women lifting in national federation meets sit between 70% and 85%.
