The wait it almost over. Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor is just seven weeks away and to be honest, we just cannot contain our excitement after the first official promo has been officially released.
Showtime Sports, the host for the pay-per-view mega-fight, released the first promotional video for the Mayweather vs. McGregor boxing match. Mayweather and McGregor are currently scheduled to clash on Aug. 26 in Las Vegas, Nev. The bout will be a 12-round fight contested at 154 pounds.
“I’ll be immortalized after this,” McGregor said. “I see it in my head, then it happens. It’s going to be familiar because I already know I can face anything.”
“I’m going to stay at the top, and do what I want to. Because if you speak boxing, you’re speaking Mayweather. You’ve got MMA fighters calling me out, stay in your lane!”
The release of the promotional video follows the announcement of a 4-day press tour that spans 3 countries from July 11 to 14, which kicks off next week.
