Jeremy Buendia Has Done Pec Tear Surgery.
Bodybuilding workouts can be an exceptionally tough task. While the uneducated may simply look at the endeavor as just lifting things up and putting it down, there are intricate details in training that can mean the difference between a successful workout session and a tremendous amount of pain. The fear of injury is a constant in any athletic endeavor, yet there’s a difference between performing in competition and training the body in the gym. Lifting weights are apart of most strength and conditioning programs, so even if you weren’t trying to build up the body, injury from weightlifting is always a worry.
Recently 4x Men’s Physique Olympia champion Jeremy Buendia tweaked his shoulder and his injury could actually affect his career. According to a post on his official Instagram Jeremy says:
“He tore it a few weeks ago and was unaware how bad it was… Saw a doctor and he confirms he needs surgery, recovery time 4 months…”
It seems that the injury was serious enough to garner pec surgery and so Jeremy Buendia found himself under the knife during his offseason.
Fortunately for him, the surgery was a complete success, and the King of Men’s Physique flexing 20 minutes after his pec surgery:
“Appreciate the prayers! Surgery went well! I’ll be back in no time, thank you to everybody who reached out. Means a lot to me.”

We hope the surgery will not effect his career as the reigning Men’s Physique Olympia king, Buendia is going to want to defend his title next year and this pec tear does him no favors.
Jeremy shares another update with his fans:
“Just got home from the hospital, I had to stay overnight. The operation took about 2 hours, & the doctor was very excited to tell me that he did an excellent job and that everything went smooth. Big thank you to Dr. Iramura and his staff for coming through for me.”
We wish Jeremy Buendia a speedy and full recovery!
