It was an interesting start to day 1 of the WSM competition and but we still have a few days to go as the events will conclude on Sunday. But up until then, the events will be for qualification purposes and today, these elite athletes will compete in the deadlift for reps and overhead press for reps.

Now, a few athletes have experienced some injuries it according to sources and a few of them include the current champion Hafthor Bjornsson with a torn plantar fascia (Will still compete), Sigfus Fossdal with a torn Achilles, and Laurence Shahlahei with an injury we’re unaware of.

But, we’ll have more information shortly…
