The 20.2 workout breaks down as follows:

20 Minutes – As Many Reps As Possible

  • 4 Dumbell Thrusters
  • 6 Toes-To-Bars
  • 24 Double Unders

Male – 50lb/25.2kg Dumbells
Female – 35lb/15kg Dumbells

Additionally, Matt Mcleod Managed To Beat Khan Porter In The Workout

After a brief delay in the workout start, both men began going to work on the 20.2. With this workout being so lengthy, it is important to pace yourself, so as to not gas out. Additionally, the live stream took place in Australia, where it was a bit warm and humid, adding to the difficulty.

Early on, Matt Mcleod gained a solid lead. This gap began to increase, as Porter stumbled a bit on the toes-to-bar, getting a no-rep. By the time the halfway point of the 20.2 came along, Mcleod was essentially an entire round ahead of Porter, with no sign of slowing down.

Miraculously, Mcleod’s pace hardly slowed as the workout drew to a close. He even felt so confident to take a quick breather around the 17 minute mark. On the other hand, Porter did noticeably begin to slow. As a result, in the end, Mcleod would walk away with the win.

Final Score:

  • Mcleod: 896 reps
  • Porter:  803 reps
