The Women’s Physique division of the 2020 Mr. Olympia brought with it a ton of fun and entertaining action to the stage. This is the results of the finals from Friday night, and who has been crowned this year’s champion.
With all of the craziness that has come along with this year’s Olympia, it could have been easy to overlook the Physique division. However two-time reigning champion Shanique Grant wanted to make sure that she did her part to make this year one to remember for the division. She came into this contest fully prepared to do her best to continue her reign as champion, and she looked primed to do just that.
After making it through Friday’s callouts to compete at the finals this evening, there would be a big shakeup in the division, as it was Sarah Villegas who ended the night as the champion, ascending to her full potential and dethroning the now former champ, Grant. Shanique Grant dropped to a close second place and Natalia Coelho ended the night in third.

I was surprised to see Shanique take second place instead of first. Her conditioning looked spot on. The only thing I can think of as to why she did not place first was perhaps her routine. I did not see the live stream and cannot find a full presentation of her posing during the finals. Maybe Villegas had a stronger presentation which impressed the judges more so than Grant. I just don’t know.
