The 2022 VanCity Showdown show took place this weekend October 1, 2022. The show was located in Burnaby, Canada and served as a 2022 Mr. Olympia qualifier exclusively for the 212 Bodybuilding division.

This year’s bodybuilding season is underway, and athletes are running out of opportunities to earn their respective invitation to the sport’s biggest show of the year — 2022 Mr. Olympia. The 2022 Mr. Olympia contest kicks off on December 15 – 18th, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Any 212 bodybuilder who placed in the top three at 2021 Olympia will be automatically qualified to compete at this year’s prestigious contest. You can find a full list of qualified athletes here. Despite a sparse lineup of talent in Canada, competitors delivered an exciting show.
