2023 Mr. Big Evolution Pro Portugal Results
Men’s Open
Roman Fritz and defending champ Andrea Presti were both in the running for first during prejudging and finals. They put on a great contest and kept fans quite intrigued. Judges favored the conditioning, separation, and x-frame of Andrea Presti.
He last competed at the Empro Classic Pro where he narrowly took runner-up to Michal Krizo. Meanwhile, Roman Fritz took fifth at the same Empro Classic Pro contest. Ultimately, Andrea Presti won the show and is now a three-time Mr. Big Evolution Pro champion.

Men’s 212 Bodybuilding
During prejudging, Marco Sarcone stood out with exceptional conditioning. His last contest came in dominant fashion at the 2022 Worldwide Amateur Olympia in first place. He battled against Roman Lushchenko today. They put on a good contest but Roman Lushchenko got his hand raised and secured first place.

Classic Physique
During prejudging and finals, it was a battle between Stephane Matala, who is known for great conditioning and striations, and Antoine Loth. Loth last competed at the 2023 Sheru Classic Pro Italy where he took second. In the end, the conditioning and experience of Antoine Loth helped him secure the Classic Physique title in Portugal.

Men’s Physique
Men’s physique competitors put on a thrilling contest this weekend. By the end prejudging wrapped up, fans were impressed with the physiques of Phillippe Degila and Sidy Pouye the most. Degila last competed at the 2022 Empro Pro where he placed outside the top 15 but he came with a chip on his shoulder this weekend. Pouye, on the other hand, last took home first at the 2023 Sheru Classic Pro Italy. The dominant upper body of Sidy Pouye secured him the win and the first-place trophy.

Bikini
In the Bikini category, fans and judges saw a war between Chantal Hill and Tatiana Lanovenko. They were both put through a number of comparisons. Hill took first recently at the 2023 NPC Empro Classic Pro while Lanavenko last took seventh at the 2022 BigMan Weekend Pro. The balance, symmetry, and overall look of Tatiana Landovenko was one of her best and she secured the victory.

Women’s Bodybuilding
While there wasn’t a deep pool of talent, competitors in Women’s Bodybuilding put on a top-notch show. Leonova last took first in 2021 Portugal Pro show while Barreto was second at the 2022 Big Man Evolution Pro show. Now, Alcione Barreto can call herself a 2023 Mr. Big Evolution Pro champion.

Figure
In what has become an immensely competitive and thriving division, competitors from Figure were eager to turn up this weekend. The finals, however, saw two names emerge as frontrunners: Kristen McGregor and Rejoice Godwin. McGregor’s last contest was in fifth at the 2022 FitMuscle Pro. She was up against Godwin, who is known for her consistency. Godwin last took to the stage at the 2023 Empro Classic in third. In the end, Kristen McGregor won the show with her most complete package to date.

Another popping category, Women’s Physique competitors left nothing in the tank and put it all on the line this weekend. Judges had a tough job during this competition. When finals commenced it seemed that Birgit Andersch and Caroline Alves Dos Santos were fighting for supremacy. Birgit last took second at the 2023 Empro Classic Pro. Meanwhile, Dos Santos entered this event having last finished third at the Romania Muscle Fest Pro. While it was close, Caroline Alves Dos Santos won the show.

Wellness competitors brought it on Sunday. Moreira, who last took eighth at the 2023 Empro Pro was out for vengeance. Up against fourth-place 2023 Empro Pro finisher Lisa Meiswinkel, it was an exciting back-and-forth on stage. When the dust settled, Lisa Meiswinkel walked away with gold.
