The 2023 Musclecontest International Recife Pro took place in Recife, Brazil, on October 7, and served as one of the final Olympia qualifiers of the season. Competitors from the Classic Physique category met on stage with the intention of guaranteeing their passage on the sport’s biggest stage.
There are very few opportunities left to qualify for 2023 Mr. Olympia, which is set to occur in Orlando, Florida’s Orange County Convention Center from November 2-5. With the point system removed and fewer months in the season, it’s been especially challenging for athletes to qualify this year.
Following individual routines, prejudging, and confirmation rounds, Junior Javorski secured Classic Physique gold in the finals. He’ll have the chance to square off against the reigning four-time Classic Physique Olympia Chris Bumstead in under four weeks.
