The IFBB Pro League welcomed the 2023 Musclecontest International Ultimate Pro on Saturday, September 23 in Curitiba, Brazil. This bodybuilding event featured some of the best Classic Physique competitors from around the world, all of whom fought their best for not just a cash prize, but a qualification for this year’s 2023 Mr. Olympia contest.
There have been significant changes made to the Olympia Qualification Rules since last year. The IFBB abolished the point system, which has made it more challenging for athletes to secure their spot on the sport’s biggest stage.
In a division ruled by Chris Bumstead, standing out is no easy feat. However, on Saturday, Gabriel Zancaneli did just that on his way to capturing Classic Physique gold at the 2023 Musclecontest International Ultimate Pro. His display of dry conditioning and aesthetics were crucial to his success. Fans look forward to seeing how he fares against “Cbum” from November 2-5 in Orlando, Florida at the 2023 Mr. Olympia contest.
