The 2023 Phoenix Pro/Am Championships kicked off on August 5 as competitors from the Men’s Physique category gathered in Phoenix, Arizona. This event was a qualifier for the upcoming Mr. Olympia competition.

Athletes have until October 9 to secure qualifications for the sport’s biggest event of the year. The 2023 Mr. Olympia takes place November 2-5 in Orlando, Florida. It’s more challenging to earn passage to this event because the point system has been removed. There are also fewer months to qualify than in 2022.

The prejudging rounds delivered some exciting action. In the finals, Rodrigue Chesnier asserted himself as the champion on Saturday. As a result of his victory, he’ll have a shot at facing the reigning Men’s Physique Olympia winner Erin Banks in three months.
