The 2024 Men’s Physique Olympia contest was part of the 60th annual Joe Weider’s Fitness and Performance Olympia Weekend, taking place from October 10-13 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Competitors from the Men’s Physique division met for prejudging on Saturday, October 12 at 9:30 a.m. inside the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The Men’s Physique Olympia title has been subject to a game of hot potato over the past few years. In 2022, Erin Banks shocked the world, defeating Brandon Hendrickson to claim gold. However, he was out-conditioned back-to-front by Ryan Terry in 2023, who entered this event as the reigning champion.
During prejudging, Ryan Terry dominated with dry muscle quality and deeb ab separation. His hands-on-hip superman shot stole the show once again, making it tough on his opponents. Terry looked comfortable, confident, and in control of each pose.
However, the back detail of former titleholder Alil Bilal stood out and he gave the reigning champion a run for his money, as he managed to present his physique tremendously throughout the quarter turns. It’s a close contest as we head into finals on Saturday night.
