The 2024 Strongest Man On Earth & Shaw Classic competition is set to take place on August 16–18 in Loveland, CO. It is considered to be one of the greatest Strongman shows of the season, as it has been in the past few years as well. Moreover, this year’s edition of the contest is looking more promising than ever since its unbelievably stacked lineups have just been revealed.
Seeing that Brian Shaw acquired the rights to “Strongest Man On Earth” title last year, the competitors received another reason to give their all in hopes of taking the throne. Moreover, Shaw won the competition last year, so we are guaranteed to witness a new champion being crowned this year.

Lineup Overview
The 2024 Strongest Man On Earth competition is set to offer something that no other competition has yet, as Hafthor Bjornsson is set to make his appearance. The 2018 World’s Strongest Man recently came out of retirement and competed in two shows already, but pointed out that he was not back to his best. So, with a lot of time still left until this competition, this might be the first time that we witness a fully prepared post-retirement Hafthor battling against the younger prodigies.

Although some huge names are in the lineup, Mitchell Hooper is still set to carry the favorite status. The Canadian has been on an incredible run of results, winning the 2023 World’s Strongest Man, 2x Arnold Strongman Classics, and the Rogue Invitational. Moreover, Hooper finished second at last year’s Strongest Man On Earth competition.
Hooper will once again face his biggest rival as well, since Tom Stoltman is in the lineup. Known best for winning two World’s Strongest Man titles already, Tom and Mitch have been marked as the most notable rivalry in recent years, and are set to entertain the fans once again at the 2024 Strongest Man On Earth.
While there are a couple men who could pull off a surprise. However, one man who has already beaten Hooper and Stoltman in elite competitions is Evan Singleton. The former WWE wrestler known as the ‘T-Rex’ has shown greatness on many occasions and might do it again at the 2024 Strongest Man On Earth competition.
Among other athletes, it is important to point out two more that will pose a threat to everyone. Those are the former 2x Shaw Classic champion, Trey Mitchell, and the 2020 World’s Strongest Man, Oleksii Novikov. Both have been battling injuries recently, but if they come in fully fit, there is no telling what they could achieve.

2024 Shaw Classic Lineups
It is important to note that the 2024 Strongest Man On Earth (SMOE) is the Pro Invitational division, while the 2024 Shaw Classic features multiple weight classes, where athletes had to qualify for the competition. In simpler terms, the Shaw Classic refers to the entire weekend, including all divisions, as well as the Expo, while the SMOE just accounts for the pro division.

Brian Shaw has revealed that he put all bias and friendship aside when he picked which athletes to add to the 2024 Strongest Man On Earth Lineup. He did so in order to maintain the integrity of the competition, and it is now looking like one of the strongest lineups of the season.
