One notable athlete that has a history of success at the Britain’s Strongest Man competition is Adam Bishop. He won the competition in 2020 and managed to repeat the feat in 2023 as well. So, he clearly knows what it takes to take the gold. Adam’s last appearance occurred at the 2024 World’s Strongest Man competition, where he ended up tearing his Achilles tendon.
Another man who has held the title of Britain’s Strongest Man in the past is Graham Hicks. He won the competition back in 2019 and is now returning six years later to try to win it again. Hicks missed out on the 2024 season due to focusing on the deadlift world record attempt. He failed to achieve that goal, but it now seems that he is back to performing in full competitions once again.
Arguably the biggest name in the 2025 Britain’s Strongest Man lineup is Luke Stoltman. He has never won this title but has been crowned Europe’s Strongest Man in the past. So, he is more than capable of taking the win, depending on what kind of shape he brings to the competition floor.
Luke Richardson was dubbed the biggest talent in Strongman at one point but was hindered by injuries in the past few years. Despite the lack of luck, Richardson has persisted in coming back to the sport and is looking forward to finally fulfilling his potential. If he comes in healthy to the 2025 Britain’s Strongest Man competition, there is no doubt that Richardson could stand on top of the podium.
While the mentioned athletes have the best chance at winning the 2025 Britain’s Strongest Man, a couple of other competitors could definitely surprise them. Shane Flowers has shown signs of brilliance in the past, but it is unclear how well he recovered from the bicep tear that he suffered earlier this year. On the other hand, Gavin ‘The Bull’ Bilton is a gigantic Strongman who is capable of beating everyone on a certain set of events.
