The 2025 World’s Strongest Man competition is approaching quickly, as it is set to take place on May 15-18 in Sacramento, California. The majority of information regarding the show had been revealed earlier, but one big part was still missing up until today. However, that has now been resolved, since the organizers revealed all groups for the qualifying stage of the 2025 World’s Strongest Man.

The 2025 World’s Strongest Man is divided into two parts — the Qualifying stage and the Finals. The qualifiers feature the full lineup of 25 athletes, while only the ten best performers will earn their spot in the finals.

The qualification for the finals is done in a very simple way, as the first stage of the competition separates the athletes into five groups. From there, the top two rated athletes from every group after the initial five events move on to the second stage.

The groups for the 2025 World’s Strongest Man competition have been revealed much earlier than in previous years, which definitely marks a big change. This time the athletes have a lot more time to develop their strategy and tactics by analyzing which events do or do not suit their rivals.

The groups for the 2025 World’s Strongest Man show just how stacked the roster is, as it is hard to predict who the top two finishers in each group are going to be. Even the reigning and 3x champion, Tom Stoltman, will have to put up a huge fight in order to secure his spot in the finals.

All other groups are equally stacked, which should make for an incredible competition. Some fan favorites like Mitchell Hooper are expected to have an easier path to the finals, but others like Lucas Hatton and Mariusz Kieliszkowski will have to beat established Strongmen to secure their spot among the final ten athletes.
