Lineup Overview
It is impossible to predict the outcome of the 2025 World’s Strongest Man for multiple reasons, one being the incredibly stacked lineup. Moreover, it is unclear how the qualifying groups will be formed, which leaves room for surprise and an opportunity for some underdogs to make their way to the finals.
With that said, there are a couple of athletes worth paying attention to. The first one has to be Tom Stoltman, the reigning and 3x WSM champion. Tom has a history of success at the competition and is always one of the favorites to win.
On the other hand, his biggest rival, Mitchell Hooper, will also be at the competition. Hooper is one of the most consistent Strongmen ever seen and is hungry to reclaim his title after losing it last year. The Canadian has already defended his title at the 2025 Arnold Strongman Classic, showing that he is in incredible form.
Lucas Hatton is another athlete that is expected to perform well, as he has shown his potential in the past year. He doesn’t seem to have any outstanding weaknesses, which puts him in a very good spot.
While there are a number of other athletes who deserve to be singled out, Luke Richardson and Mateusz Kieliszkowski are ones that could shock the community. Both proved to be incredible prospects in the earlier years of their careers but were hindered by injuries. However, with Luke winning the 2025 Europe’s Strongest Man and Mateusz claiming the 2024 Magnus Ver Magnusson Classic title, it is clear that both athletes are back in their prime.

Still, there is no doubt that those who are set to appear in the competition will give their all to put on an amazing show.
