Conor McGregor entertained his fans during a Q&A in Chicago, while signing whiskey bottles he was promoting for St. Patricks Day, and he also made it very clear that he wanted a rematch with Floyd Mayweather…
“He must step back into the ring, so I’ll be here ready”…
Apparently, the former UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor is looking for revenge against Floyd Mayweather who defeated the Irish MMA fighter with a 10th round TKO back in August 2017. This mega fight recorded the second highest buy rate in history and a rematch could likely come close or surpass the pay-per-view record.
But right now, McGregor is just hyping up the possibility…
Check out the video from BJPenn.com:
“I wasn’t prepared his experience showed through and he got the win, and you can’t do nothing but respect that because that takes fifty pro fights to gain that experience to be able to switch through those gears like that. But I prepared for the style he came out originally with and I was whooping his ass when he came out that way because I was prepared for it. But when he switched to a different style I wasn’t prepared for, he ended up getting the win so much respect”.
McGregor said he would send Mayweather’s head into the bleachers if he got a rematch with the undefeated boxing legend.
“If I have sparring partners in my camp that march forward, trust me when I tell you, I’ll send his head into the bleachers”.
A rematch between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather would be the biggest fight of the year and potentially all-time. But we may see a Conor McGregor vs Khabib Nurmagomedov rematch before then as McGregor will be looking to redeem himself after his loss in October of last year.
Who do you think would win a rematch between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather?
