Another 2022 CrossFit Semifinals weekend came to an end with an incredible strength exhibition. The 2022 Far East Throwdown took place over the weekend of June 3-5, in Busan, South Korea. It served as a qualifier for the 2022 CrossFit Games for the athletes from the Asian continent and it definitely did not disappoint. Although many rookies stepped up to claim their ticket for the finals, Roman Khrennikov still won the competition with comfort.

The two top place finishers from each of the male, female, and team division earned their place for the 2022 CrossFit Games, which will take place on August 3-7, in Madison, Wisconsin. Winners of both individual divisions, Roman Khrennikov and Choi Seungyeon, had almost perfect performances. Roman won four out of six events, and did not place out of the top 4 in those which he failed to win. Choi Seungyeon has an almost identical performance, as she also won four events.
