How to Deadlift Better Than Donald Trump Jr.
Donald Trump Jr. recently set a new personal deadlifting record. Trump Jr. posted a video on Instagram of him setting “a new personal Deadlift record” at 375 lbs. Impressive! only until you look at Trump Junior’s sloppy form.
Since we watched this video our backs hurt atrocious.
In his Instagram post, Junior acknowledges that “the form went to hell” because “at the extreme ends it gets tougher to stay perfect.”
Well it wasn’t pretty but I set a new personal Deadlift record today hitting 375 lbs. I know I know the form went to hell so I’ll save you the need for commenting. Back too rounded legs up to fast etc etc… At the extreme ends it gets tougher to stay perfect. That said still pretty psyched. #crossfit #deadlift #pr #weightlifting #fitness #ugly
True but the answer to that isn’t to go for the extreme weight anyway. Instead, what he should have done is worked up to this Deadlift record by hitting perfect form on smaller weight before trying things out at 375 lbs. Having your form “go to hell” with this much weight could end in a pretty serious injury.

We can see him in the video he’s rounding his back so much he gave himself a solid chance of herniating a disc. His chest pointed straight at the ground at the start of the motion instead of forward. While leaning forward like that seems more natural to start deadlifting, it also puts way too much stress on your back.
Trump Jr. set himself up for a back-wrenching PR from the very beginning.
When lifting weight like that you also need to straighten your legs before involving your back, something Junior doesn’t quite pull off either. That’s something he would have been training his spine to handle at lower weights so this one wouldn’t have ended in such a curvature.
The Junior’s effort inspired a string of comments paying tribute to his ‘lower back’.
One user wrote: “You did the name proud 🙂 what a horrible lift.”
Another said: “Bruh. Watch that form. Flatten your back. You’re going to end up hurting yourself.”
Jimmy Kimmel suggested on his show:
“Looks like somebody’s getting ready for prison,”

Anyway, we have found a perfect video of what proper form looks like:
Its always good to start out small and work yourself up to those impressive lifts and focus on getting that form right.
At least he lifts, unlike the soyboys on the left who have the physical build of a girl. Another stupid article bashing the president’s family.
