Bikini talent gathered in Anaheim, California on September 2 for the 2023 Musclecontest Irongames Pro. This event served as a qualifier for the upcoming Olympia contest.

Heading into this weekend, athletes were extra motivated to secure their qualifications for 2023 Mr. Olympia, taking place in Orlando, Florida from November 2-5. The deadline to qualify ends in just over one month on October 9.

The Olympia Qualification System also implemented changes as the point system has been removed, making it more challenging to secure a spot on the sport’s biggest stage. In So Cal, the Bikini category delivered a riveting show with plenty of close comparisons.

In the end, Yurika Shigemoto secured the 2023 Musclecontest Irongames Pro title. She will now have the opportunity to face reigning Bikini Olympia Maureen Blanquisco on the Olympia stage in a few months!
