Event One — Log Lift
The first event of the 2023 Giants Live World Tour Finals will be the Log Lift, where the only goal will be to pick up and overhead press as much weight as possible. What makes this event so interesting is that the lineup for this competition is heavily stacked on incredible Log Lifters. Above all, the current Log Lift World Record, Cheick “Iron Biby” Sanou, will be taking part and aiming to set the bar even higher.

Event Two — Sandbag Steeplechase
The second test of strength at the upcoming competition will be the Sandbag Steeplechase. It has been featured in multiple competitions and usually required the athletes to first carry and lift a few sandbags over a beam. Then, the athletes would go around the beam, pick up the sandbags again and carry them to their respective platforms.
Event Three — Axle Deadlift
The 2023 Giants Live World Tour Finals will feature the Axle Deadlift for its third event. Obviously, the deadlift is one of the most iconic strength exercises, but performing it with an Axle barbell makes it quite specific for Strongman. However, the exact details for this event at the World Tour Finals were not revealed, including the format, weight, and equipment.
Event Four — Conan’s Wheel
The fourth event of the World Tour Finals is another iconic one, as that place will belong to Conan’s Wheel. It was named after the wheel that the slaves were forced to push as a punishment in the movie “Conan the Barbarian”. So, that alone proves how brutal the event is.
The Conan’s Wheel requires the athletes to pick up a giant metal beam which pivots around a fixed central point and then hold it on their forearms while carrying it around in circles for as long as possible. It makes the athletes push themselves to their absolute limits, which makes for an incredible display of human strength.
Event Five — Castle Stones
The final event of the 2023 Giants Live World Tour Finals will be the Castle Stones, making for another traditional conclusion to a Strongman competition. It will feature a series of heavy round boulders which will increase in weight. The athletes will have to pick up each of the boulders from the floor and load it onto its respective platform.
