Infamous for his self-proclaimed ‘trash diet,’ Sam Sulek is back to showcase a full day of eating. In a recent YouTube video, Sulek walked fans through his 4,887-calorie diet for his winter bulk, which was spread across four meals.

Despite having yet to test himself on a bodybuilding stage, Sam Sulek has taken the sport by storm. At just 21 years old, the fitness star boasts head-turning muscle mass and conditioning. He exploded in popularity last year and has already been sponsored by Fouad Abiad’s supplement company, Hosstile.

In addition to criticisms regarding his calorically dense diet and alleged use of performance-enhancing drugs, Sulek has drawn backlash from Pro bodybuilders such as Nick Walker, who contend that the influencer could be sending a dangerous message to younger audiences.

Sam Sulek Consumes 4,887 Calories in 24 Hours With Four Simple Meals During Winter Bulk

Instead of his typical giant bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Sulek settled for Chex cereal to get his day started.

Meal 1

  • 3 servings of Chex cereal
  • 3 cups of milk

“Simple carbs,” says Sam Sulek. “Per serving one gram of fat in this dried Chex, don’t just skip over that. That’s the absolute worst mistake you could do. In a bulking context that’s not bad because then you’re eating more food than you are really tracking. But if you’re dieting down, you have to be OCD Mr. Monk level.”

Meal 2

Sulek enjoyed a pound of steak and five servings of mash potatoes as his pre-workout meal.

  • 1 pound of Steak
  • Pre-made 5 servings of mashed potatoes

“Apart from any treats that I might have before I go train, this will pretty much be the pre-workout meal. This is what I’ve kind of been loving,” said Sulek. “Usually, I’m lazy and I get a lot of pre-made food, like a Costco huge 15-pound turkey breast and just cut chunks off but the steaks I’ve been loving.”

Then, Sulek talked about why he doesn’t stress over missing meals.

“I’ve never really been a huge proponent of really hitting meals per say. That’s one factor I kind of differentiate in terms of my let’s just call it Rich Piana similarities. Calories are calories dude. You can’t eat something and have it not count. That’s one thing I think people really kind of have to understand.”

Meal 3

During his workout, the famed influencer fueled up with a protein shake.

  • Protein shake intra workout Hosstile

“So I forgot to add intra-workout was 100 grams of carbs in the Hosstile bottle. Yeah, I forgot about that. I was doing the blue Gatorade.”

Meal 4

His flank steak and chicken ramen meal was meant to be his second-to-last meal of the day but ultimately served as his final after falling asleep.

  • 12 ounces Flank steak
  • Two packs of chicken Ramen

While there were no Krispie Kreme donuts or jugs of chocolate milk, Sulek underlined his belief in the ‘calories in, calories out’ system.

“Not a lot of crazy treats today. Though, when it comes to the actual kinds of foods that I’m eating, for the most part, I do look at it as calories in, calories out, how many carbs are in it, how many fats are in it, how much protein is in it.

But protein is a little different. I do definitely put a lot of emphasis on making sure the 250 grams of protein I do get a day is from a high-quality source.”

Total Daily Macros:

  • 199 grams of protein
  • 159 grams of fat
  • 665 grams of carbs
  • 4,887 calories

Constantly aiming to improve his physique, Sam Sulek has been open and honest with fans about his bulking/cutting phases. In addition, he revealed that he sustained a minor injury to his chest, but assured fans that it hasn’t slowed him down in the gym.

From a full day of eating to in-depth conversations about lifting weights, Sam Sulek has become a trailblazer of the fitness community, and only seems to be growing his online presence further as we head into 2024.

“I got a bag of Doritos I’ve been itching to eat at, maybe I’ll have that later.”
