- Liver HD
- Kidney HD
- Vita HD
“I’m going to show you guys my top three favorites that I think are essential no matter what. We got the liver. I take one serving of this a day which is four pills, it’s a lot. And then, next, I take the Kidney HD, this is a total of nine pills so I kind of split this up three times a day.
I do three in the morning, three in the afternoon and three at night just so it’s not too large of a consumption of pills at once. The Vita HD I also take one serving in the morning and I just think these are the most vital supplements to take daily whether it’s on season or off-season. It doesn’t matter. Without the kidney and the liver, in my opinion, the body doesn’t function well. So it’s very important that we take the proper supplementation to make sure they are running properly.”
Checking in at 281 pounds, Walker revealed that his coach Matt Jansen believes his legs are looking significantly leaner as of late.
“Yeah [281 pounds]. I know I sent the updates to Matt and he’s like, ‘We’ll just keep going, man. Your legs look a lot leaner.’ I’m like okay. I’m like alright good,” said Nick Walker.
During his stay at the Asylum Sports Clinic, Walker described his typical recovery day, which included compression boots, electrical stimulation, deep tissue work, cold plunge, and the sauna.
“That basically included recovery day. Kind of just to recap a little bit, basically we started with the compression boots then he did a lot of stim specifically for the hamstring and my calf area. Did some stretching for the lower back, did some cracking, I guess you could say, a little straightening out. Then, the deep tissue work and he did use the stim machine on that as well to just really activate things a little better.”
“Then, we took a little food break. Cold plunge and sauna, I do that twice a week. I do that on Wednesdays and Sundays, so pretty much, the rest of the day looks like, I’ll go home, shower, have another meal, basically just rest. and recover. I just think on off days this is a very great benefit. If you’re able to, take advantage of just chilling,” said Nick Walker.
Before calling it a day, Walker practiced posing, showing off a most muscular variation and front double biceps.
Supplement intake has become a thriving topic in the world of fitness. Health expert Dr. Andrew Huberman has opened up on some of his most-favored supplements for exercise performance. He advocated for omega-3s, Rhodiola Rosea, and creatine. offering insight into dosages and efficacy:
“Now it’s very clear you can take a daily dose of creatine and that it really doesn’t matter when you take that creatine, you could take it post-workout as many people do you could take it pre-workout it really doesn’t seem to matter.”
At 29 years old, Walker’s future in the IFBB Pro League appears bright. He recently laid out his ‘realistic’ goal of winning five Mr. Olympias and four Arnold Classic titles before setting his sights on retirement. In addition, he labeled former Mr. Olympia Hadi Choopan as his biggest threat currently competing in the Open class.
With newfound leanness in his legs, Walker intends to solidify himself as a top contender for Mr. Olympia. Fans look forward to seeing him battle on stage at the 2024 New York Pro taking place May 18.
