Hunter Henderson’s appearance at the 2024 WRPF Ghost Clash 3 was highly anticipated by many, as she is known for breaking records in high-profile competitions. With the competition taking place on April 7th in Miami, Florida, Hunter Henderson came in ready to put on a show. She did so by setting a new 311-kilogram (685.6-pound) Squat W/Wraps All-Time World Record.
Hunter Henderson exceeded the World Record in training leading up to the 2024 WRPF Ghost Clash 3. So, she knew that she was capable of breaking it officially as well. However, she first made sure to get a score on the board, just in case anything goes wrong. So, she opened up with a 297.5-kilogram (655.9-pound) squat.
Once that was done, Hunter Henderson immediately jumped to a weight that would set a new record, which is 311 kilograms (685.6 pounds). She walked out with a lifting belt, knee wraps, and wrist wraps, all in-line with the regulations of her division. Hunter made the lift look effortless and was definitely capable of lifting a bit more weight.
Hunter Henderson attempted to further advance the record a few minutes later, but was unable to squat 320.5 kilograms (706.6 pounds). As Hunter describes it, she just could get into the right headspace and was unable to manage the weight because of it.
297.5 kilograms (655.9 pounds)
311 kilograms (685.6 pounds) — U82.5KG All-Time World Record
Unsuccessful — 320.5 kilograms (706.6 pounds)
*Hunter Henderson held the former U82.5KG ATWR Squat of 305 kilograms (672.4 pounds), which she set at the 2022 WRPF FQ Classic 2.

Hunter Henderson’s bench press was in line with her regular performances, as she almost equaled her competition PR with a lift of 165 kilograms (363.8 pounds). She then added 5 kilograms (11 pounds) to the bar, which proved to be just a bit over what she was capable of.
155 kilograms (341.7 pounds)
165 kilograms (363.8 pounds)
170 kilograms (374.8 pounds)
Deadlift
The deadlift event proved to be the worst for Hunter Henderson this time, presumably because her legs and core were beat up from incredibly heavy squats. So, she only managed to successfully lock out her first deadlift attempt of 240 kilograms (529.1 pounds).

Hunter Henderson has now appeared in 11 sanctioned powerlifting appearances during her six-year career, in which she has secured nine victories. Apart from powerlifting, Hunter also has experience in bodybuilding, having gotten an IFBB Pro card at the 2021 NPC USA Championship and placed second at the 2021 IFBB Tampa Pro. As if that wasn’t enough, Hunter also tested her skills in the sport of Strongwoman, where she won her debut competition.
Hunter Henderson revealed on her Instagram that she is “taking a break from powerlifting”. She did not reveal how long that will last or what she plans to do. But one thing is certain, Hunter will find success in whatever sport she does. Moreover, generally speaking, taking a break should mean that Hunter is planning to return to powerlifting at some point as well.
